U.S. Strikes Target Drug Cartels in Eastern Pacific
In a robust action, President Trump has given the green light for two precise military strikes against vessels linked to cartels, which took place in international waters. This operation resulted in the deaths of six narco-terrorists affiliated with organizations designated as terrorist groups. The targeted vessels, reportedly carrying drugs and traversing known human trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific, were neutralized without any impact on U.S. military personnel, underscoring the president’s commitment to both protecting the homeland and addressing threats beyond U.S. borders.
Army Secretary Pete Hegseth shared that the military had launched another significant offensive targeting narco-terrorists transporting dangerous drugs across the Eastern Pacific. The dual attacks led to the demise of three narco-terrorists and sank a significant cache of illegal drugs to the ocean floor. Hegseth emphasized that the six individuals, three from each boat, had connections to a recognized foreign terrorist group.
“Our intelligence identified these vessels as being involved in illicit drug trafficking, and they were actively transporting narcotics on established routes in the Eastern Pacific,” he mentioned in a post on X.
Additional footage underscores the presence of drugs onboard the vessel, as stated by Hegseth.
The operations against the narco-terrorists took place on a Sunday.
Hegseth remarked, “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are ensuring the safety of our homeland and enforcing actions against cartel terrorists who pose a threat to our nation and its citizens.”
Just days earlier, the army chief released a video showcasing another offensive strike targeting drug traffickers in the Caribbean, which resulted in the deaths of three more narco-terrorists and the destruction of their drugs.
Hegseth also warned, “To all narco-terrorists threatening our homeland: if you wish to live, cease drug trafficking. Persist in this endeavor, and we will eliminate you.”
Back in September, President Trump began a series of military operations aimed at combating drug-trafficking vessels, according to reports.
“This morning, I ordered a kinetic attack against a confirmed Torren de Aragua narco-terrorist within Southcom’s patrol area,” President Trump stated in a post on Truth Social on September 2.
“As part of this airstrike, 11 terrorists were killed, and fortunately, there were no U.S. military casualties. Let this be a reminder to anyone considering bringing drugs into the U.S.—exercise caution!” he cautioned.
