Ohio-based ice cream brand Graeter's Ice Cream announced Friday, January 24, that its newest flavor, Skyline Spice, is a collaboration with another Cincinnati icon, Skyline Chili. .
“This quirky yet wonderful creation combines Graeter's handmade French Pot ice cream with oyster crackers and Skyline's signature chili spice mix, offering the best of both worlds at these two popular Cincinnati restaurants. ” said a press release from Graeters.
“Everyone who knows Chili's knows Skyline, and as long-time fans ourselves, we're proud to share it with others,” said Richard Graeter, fourth generation president and CEO of Graeter's Ice Cream. The flavor is “sweet and savory, unlike anything ice cream and chili lovers have ever tasted before,” the release says.

Skyline Chili is known for its “secret recipe” chili peppers and unique products such as “3-Way.”
The 3-way, which Skyline Chili's website calls its signature dish, features “original secret recipe chili peppers wrapped in steamed spaghetti and topped with a mound of shredded cheddar cheese.”

Skyline Chili Chairman and CEO Dick Williams said in a release that Skyline Chili has never collaborated with a dessert before.
“Every bite of Grater's Skyline Spice Ice Cream captures the heart and soul of both of our beloved Midwestern brands,” Williams said.

Graeter's Skyline Spice Ice Cream will be available starting January 27th at Skyline Restaurants, Graeter's Scoop Shop, and “select Kroger stores in Cincinnati, Columbus, Ohio, Indianapolis, and Louisville, Kentucky.” It will be on sale for a limited time, the newspaper said. release.

Rumors of Skyline chili ice cream began swirling in October when a listing was discovered on Kroger's website.
At the time, Vice President J.D. Vance, a native of Cincinnati, posted on X: “President Trump and I will stop this.”
Vance, who made his first public appearance as vice president on the same day as the ice cream flavor announcement, has not yet commented on the new product.
