Small nodule found in Biden’s prostate

Last week, a routine health examination revealed a “small nodule” in President Biden’s prostate, as confirmed by his spokesman on Tuesday.

“Regular health checks identified small nodules in the prostate, but no further information was given,” the spokesman stated.

Biden, who is 82, spent part of Friday at a hospital in Philadelphia, according to the New York Times, which reported on the matter.

He holds the record as the oldest serving commander-in-chief in U.S. history, having taken office in January.

In 2023, Biden’s doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, noted that he had a lesion removed from his chest during a physical exam, which was identified as basal cell carcinoma.

“The site of the biopsy is healing well, and the president will continue dermatological monitoring as part of his ongoing health care,” the doctor had mentioned.

Biden’s presidency has been accompanied by ongoing discussions around his health and age, particularly following his announcement to withdraw from a re-election campaign last July.

Recently, he has re-emerged in the public eye, which has drawn mixed reactions from some members of the Democratic Party. He participated in his first interview since leaving the White House with the BBC and also appeared on ABC’s “Scenery” alongside his wife, Jill Biden.
