A small plane crashed into a Florida trailer park Thursday night, setting several homes on fire and killing several people, local fire officials said.
The single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza V35 crashed at Bayside Waters Trailer Home Park in Clearwater, just south of Clearwater Mall, at about 7:08 p.m., according to the Clearwater Fire and Rescue Department.

Clearwater Fire Rescue Chief Scott Ehlers said the wreck “resulted in several fatalities on board the aircraft and in the mobile home.”
Video released by the fire and rescue team showed an apocalyptic scene, with plane wreckage still smoldering next to charred buildings and trees.

another video posted on social Media shows from a distance the massive flames engulfing the house.
Fire Chief Scott Ehlers told reporters the plane crashed into one of the mobile homes, causing a fire and affecting three other people.
The fire was reportedly extinguished quickly.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
