Authorities confirmed that a small plane crashed in a residential area not far from the airport in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday morning.
Videos shared on social media showed the fire and large columns of smoke visible high above the treeline in Fairview.
The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said they would provide an update from the scene.
