Bears vs. Packers picks
For the second year in a row, the Packers face a crucial season finale with a win at stake, this time against their division rival, the Bears. The Lions ended the Packers' playoff hopes last season, and now the Bears are looking to play a similar spoiler role. Despite the Bears' recent run, I'm leaning towards the Packers due to memories of last year's playoff loss.
Quarterback Love is admirably filling the role the team envisioned when they drafted him in the first round four years ago. His confidence in the pocket is evident, and the team has benefited from the success of its young receivers this season. WR Reed may be absent for this week's game, but speedy receiver Christian Watson is expected to return. Watson's presence should create opportunities in the middle of the field for players like Dube, Melton, Hicks and tight end Tucker Craft.
The Bears' pass defense ranks 21st and is better at creating turnovers, while the Packers have minimized giveaways, ranking in the top five in the league this season.
