In the past, comedians hosting the White House Correspondents’ Dinner have gingerly grilled a sitting president or kicked him in the ribs. However, this year’s host chose to give Joe Biden a tongue bath instead.
saturday night live Performer Colin Jost, who hosted the annual event on Saturday, naturally attacked the president. It wasn’t the person sitting on the podium next to him. Instead, he blasted Donald Trump one after the other, capping off his “tirade” by spouting flattery about Joe Biden’s “decency.”
Jost took several soft jabs at Biden during his speech, but he also repeatedly attacked Trump over his current legal problems and circled around to attack the potential Republican nominee again and again. .
Jost also attacked RNC co-chair Lara Trump and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.). But he did so after a divisive hearing over Rep. Jamal Bowman’s (D-N.Y.) fire alarm failure and Fulton County Prosecutor Fannie Willis’ extramarital affair with a special deputy. But he didn’t mention the names of any other Democrats who might have deserved a shot or two. Prosecutors trying to drop RICO charges against Trump (he never prosecuted any felonies).
Throughout his routine, a number of journalists sitting in the audience gave Mr. Jost quiet laughs and scattered applause. However, it was only at the end that he finally managed to earn their love and appreciation.
of SNL The performer ended his speech by gloating at Biden about how his 95-year-old New York-based grandfather voted for the former vice president in 2020 — because he’s a “decent” man.
“He voted for you. The reason he voted for you is because you’re a decent person,” Jost said directly to the president. “The reason we’re here tonight is because my grandfather voted for decency and decency.”

Joe Biden also worked closely with racists as a U.S. senator to prevent Black children from integrating into U.S. schools, and once called his own children “racialized.” He was the one who even said he didn’t want black children to go to school with the black kids in “The Jungle.” That integration would come when they opposed busing black people to predominantly white schools. His decades-long record in government also includes a long list of incredibly racist statements.
