In a 2022 clip from the same year's Disney D23 Expo, Zegler commented that film adaptations of classic fairy tales have become more modern.

Variety said: “Zegler is not surprised that people are interpreting her comments as intentionally misleading, which is to be expected for an outspoken young woman in the public eye.” said.

The actress continued, “Throughout my life, my career, I've seen women being destroyed. We're going to see that in this election. We're going to see that for a long time. I'm worried that something will happen. Sometimes I feel like this.'' We will return, it certainly felt that way when it happened. ”
