Users of X (formerly Twitter) mocked President Biden after seeing a video of First Lady Jill Biden leading him from the stage after the president's memorial speech on January 6th.
Multiple users said White House staff watched as Biden's wife rushed over and pulled the president away from the podium before Biden made an awkward hesitation or walked confusedly to the wrong end of the stage. He said he was amused that he seemed to be giving permission.
