SoFi Stadium alive with excitement as thousands gather for Rams vs. Seahawks watch party

Despite being based in Seattle, around 1,000 miles away from Los Angeles, a huge crowd of Rams fans gathered at SoFi Stadium on Sunday afternoon to support their team.

Local officials hosted a viewing party for the NFC Championship game at the Rams’ impressive venue in Inglewood, California, with excitement building for the 3:30 p.m. PT kickoff.

The team indicated that approximately 30,000 tickets were sold for the event, with general admission priced at $10 and season ticket holders at $5. All proceeds will reportedly benefit the Los Angeles Rams Foundation, which focuses on aiding those in need within the community.

Some fans arrived as early as 11 a.m. Pacific Time, eager to secure good spots to catch the high-stakes matchup between Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold on the stadium’s huge screen.

One devoted fan, Alonzo Barraza, was among the first to arrive, panting after running to snag a prime seat. “That was an escape,” he chuckled. “But it’s definitely worth it. We want to win the Super Bowl.”

Attendees were treated to a variety of giveaways, such as rally towels, custom buttons, and tequila for those of legal drinking age.

There was also a chance to enjoy a 50% discount on merchandise, including footballs, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and jerseys for players like Stafford and Aaron Donald.

Throughout the stadium’s mezzanine, cheerleaders took photos with fans, and an artist painted faces.

Additionally, Hall of Famer Jackie Slater was on hand to sign autographs.

Fans decked out in yellow and blue all shared a common hope: a Rams victory over the Seahawks, including Tonica Moore, who anticipated a win. “I think I’ll take it home,” she remarked.
