Solheim Cup: The best social media posts to come from Team USA’s win

Team USA ended their winless streak at the Solheim Cup with a women's victory over Team Europe, 15.5 to 12.5. Lilia Vu made a spectacular putt to clinch the cup and the celebration was incredible. Her approach shot, just a few feet away, was a spectacular golf shot.

She seized the opportunity at just the right time.

The Europeans put in a valiant effort on Sunday, winning the session 6.5-5.5, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.

The U.S. team hadn't won the Solheim Cup since 2017. The women were excited.

The crowd created a great atmosphere all week and it didn't go unnoticed. Megan Kang was a big part of getting the crowd going. She finished with a 4-0-0 record at the Solheim Cup for the second straight year, but she also found time to be her team's biggest cheerleader.

“The atmosphere is amazing. I really enjoyed getting the crowd involved. My voice obviously takes a toll, but I'd love to do it again and again,” Kang said. “So cherishing those moments and playing at home and having the crowd behind me really motivated me to do my best this week. It was really fun.”

After the big win, videos and posts popped up of Team USA and their celebration. After a long hiatus, the celebration was sure to be huge. Kang's celebration was one of the best moments of the afterparty.

She was having fun and singing to the camera, which set off a search for the best reactions and celebrations to the US team's victory.

Let's take a look at some of the top ways to keep the celebration going.

Former President Barack Obama visited the Solheim Cup earlier this week to congratulate the women on their big win, so having a former president tweet about it is probably one of the coolest moments.

This post wouldn't be complete without the video of the two caddies celebrating with their shirts off on Saturday. It wasn't after a big win, but it was such an iconic moment that we had to include it here.

The American team brought champagne, filled it with cups, and took turns drinking it to celebrate.

We wish the ladies a great night celebrating their big wins, they all performed amazingly and deserved to win.
