Somali Murderers Included in 5,000 Criminal Immigrants Added to DHS Database

DHS Adds 5,000 Illegal Alien Prisoners to Public Database

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has recently incorporated around 5,000 illegal immigrant prisoners into a public database, allowing Americans to access information about what officials describe as the “worst of the worst” among the country’s undocumented population.

DHS representatives announced this development on Monday, stating that the individuals were added to wow.dhs.gov, a platform that lists illegal alien inmates who have been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and are often deported afterward.

Tricia McLaughlin from DHS commented, “With the launch of the ‘Worst of the Worst’ website, there’s been greater transparency about the dangerous criminal aliens that DHS law enforcement removes from our communities.” She posed a question to open border advocates and anti-ICE activists, asking if they would feel comfortable with murderers, rapists, gang members, pedophiles, and terrorists living in close proximity.

Some of the undocumented individuals newly added to the DHS database include two Somali men, Abdirashid Ibrahim and Zakariya Abdi, both of whom have been convicted of murder. Ibrahim also faced charges for domestic violence, weapons possession, and robbery in Nashville, Tennessee, while Abdi had a theft conviction from Bayport, Minnesota.

Additionally, gang members like Ever Rodríguez-Mendoza from El Salvador, previously convicted of assault, aggravated assault on a police officer, and robbery in Malvern, Arkansas, were included. Venezuelan gang member Yohenry Josué Betancourt Brito also made the list due to prior assault and theft convictions in New York City.

The database now also features Inland Empire 13 gang members, such as Carlos Merlos Ortiz from El Salvador, who had been convicted of rape, impersonation, and illegal reentry in Richland, Washington. Another gang member, Ricardo Suarez from Cuba, faced charges for sex crimes against minors, assault, and battery in Miramar, Florida. Nguyen Nguyen from Vietnam has a troubling record including rape with a weapon, sexual assault, and armed kidnapping, which occurred in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Furthermore, Juan Perez-Barahona from Honduras and Julio Lara-Avila from Mexico have been added as well. Perez-Barahona was convicted of child molestation and sexual assault in Brooklyn, Connecticut, while Lara-Avila faced multiple charges, including assault and child abuse, in Pollock, Louisiana.
