Somalian confesses to a plot to seize control of the US — another urinates on Trump's Hollywood star

Trump’s Comments Spark Outrage Among Somali Immigrants

President Donald Trump has sparked further controversy with remarks directed at Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and her Somali followers, labeling them “trash.” “Ilhan Omar is trash. Her friends are trash,” he stated during a Cabinet meeting in 2025.

Trump went on to express that he does not want individuals who, in his view, don’t contribute positively to the country. He suggested they should “go back and solve the problem” instead of complaining.

This has understandably upset many within the Somali community.

“Somali people are understandably upset that Trump called them trash,” said Blaze TV host Sarah Gonzalez on “Sara Gonzalez Unfiltered.” She noted a backlash, stating, “They are respectfully pushing back.” However, she also pointed out an instance where some individuals demonstrated their anger by vandalizing Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which arguably contradicts their claims of dignity.

Gonzalez remarked, “You know who would do that? They’re trash,” highlighting her views on the situation.

Nevertheless, the Somali community appears to have a broader agenda beyond simply protesting. Gonzalez raised concerns that some immigrants were not coming to assimilate but rather to assert dominance in the U.S. A video emerged where a Somalian individual expressed his hopes that Trump would not live to see a complete takeover, underscoring a sentiment of intent to remain in America.

“We came to exist in this country. The land of free men, the land of opportunity. And we’re here. That’s right. We’re not going back,” he asserted while holding a photo of Trump.

Gonzalez responded with disapproval, saying, “Arrogance and entitlement. ‘We’re here. We’re not going back.'” She suggested that the relationship between immigrants and the promises made upon arriving might need reevaluation.
