Son of the family that lived in the Amityville horror house recalls hearing voices

The middle child of the “Amityville Horror Family” recalled hearing paranormal voices while living in that house. Christopher Lutz, 52, was just six years old when his family moved to the property where the brutal murder took place. daily mail.

Lutz said she and her parents witnessed “paranormal activity” inside their home and decided to leave immediately. Their experiences inside the house inspired a book, a 1979 film, and dozens of news articles that questioned what really happened inside the house.

Lutz stars in a new BBC2 documentary titled ‘Amityville: An Origin Story’. He recalls strange and bizarre experiences within the house, including his gruesome sightings and voices.

“I was lying in bed looking down the hallway and there was a figure right in front of the door. It looked like a shadow. It didn’t have any feet touching the ground,” Luzza said.

“As I was looking at it, it came towards me and I was shocked,” he continued.

The Lutz family stayed in the house at 112 Ocean Avenue in 1975 for only 28 days before deciding to move out. However, what made this house famous were the events that allegedly occurred during his 28 days.

The year before the Lutz family moved into this house, 23-year-old Ronald “Butch” DeFeo was brutally murdered, shooting his parents and four siblings as they slept. He was ultimately convicted of six counts of second-degree murder and remains incarcerated at Greenhaven Correctional Facility in Beekman, the report said.

Christopher’s mother, Kathy, said her youngest daughter, Missy, who was 5 at the time, was talking to a ghost in her bedroom. On her family’s last night, Kathy’s husband, George, witnessed the children’s beds slam into the hardwood floor above and Kathy lifted off the ground.

The report went on to say that George was being held down by an invisible force.

The next morning, the Lutz family threw away all their belongings and left the house, never to return. Just two months later, so-called “ghost hunters” were sent to the house to investigate.

In the documentary, Christopher recalled how the family called a priest to bless the house. “The last week we were there was the worst,” he said. “The family had a priest come to their house and bless every room in the house.”

“I heard a chorus of ‘Will you please stop?'”

The house has had several owners since the incident, but no one has reported any strange occurrences since the Lutz family lived there.
