Sophie Turner and Chris Martin Spotted Dating
Sophie Turner, known for her role in Game of Thrones, is reportedly in a relationship with Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay. The two were said to have gone on a “secret date” recently—this comes shortly after Turner ended her relationship with both Peregrine Pearson and Dakota Johnson.
Sources indicate that Turner and Pearson’s breakup occurred in September after they were reportedly seen having an argument at a high-profile wedding. Just a week later, she was spotted on a date with Martin.
Interestingly, Turner and Martin have a bit of a history. It goes back to when she was married to Joe Jonas. During a 2020 episode of Jonas’ series, “Cup of Joe,” Turner was pleasantly surprised by a birthday message from Martin.
In the video, Martin said, “This is Chris from Coldplay… I want to say have a great day. I’m sending you all my love.” Turner’s reaction was emotional; she tried not to cry and exchanged a high-five with Jonas.
Turner and Jonas tied the knot in May 2019 but decided to part ways four years later. In a joint statement in September 2023, they announced their amicable separation, asking for privacy as they moved forward.
Their divorce was finalized in September 2024 after discussions about child custody and asset division. They share two daughters, Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3.
Following her split from Jonas, Turner quickly began dating Pearson, and they went public with their relationship in October 2023. But rumors of trouble surfaced in April when Pearson unfollowed some British aristocrats on social media.
Meanwhile, Martin ended his long-term relationship with Dakota Johnson in June after an on-and-off romance spanning about eight years. They had been engaged for a time as well.
A source commented that this breakup with Johnson felt like a finality. Martin was previously married to Gwyneth Paltrow from 2003 until their notable “conscious uncoupling” in 2014. The former couple shares two children, Apple, 21, and Moses, 19.
