South Carolina pastor John Paul Miller remembered his late wife, Micah Miller, during a eulogy at his Myrtle Beach congregation Saturday, saying he at one point “tried to bring her back from the dead.” .

Investigators with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office also determined that John Paul and “a woman with whom he was allegedly romantically involved” were not in Robeson County at the time of Micah’s death.

“Through interviews, investigators learned that John Paul Miller was attending a sports day in Charleston on the day of Micah Miller’s death.
