Special Counsel Jack Smith is asking an appeals court to halt an appeal against President-elect Donald Trump over allegations that he mishandled classified and classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago, Florida, mansion.

Mr. Smith did something similar in last week's D.C. election interference case.
