Celebrate National Hot Dog Day with Dogs Out Founders

Founders of Dogs Out, Matt D’Arcy and Keith Stedronski, will be featured on “Fox & Friends First” to celebrate National Hot Dog Day. These young entrepreneurs plan to discuss their college tour of hot dog eating contests, which began in the Northeast, and share insights from their five-year journey establishing a hot dog stand at the Jersey Shore. Additionally, they unveiled a new website.

July 15th marks National Hot Dog Day, prompting many food retailers across the nation to roll out special promotions.

The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) reports that Americans eat around 20 billion hot dogs annually, averaging about 70 hot dogs per person each year.

During the summer months, specifically from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Americans consume about 7 billion hot dogs. That’s a quantity sufficient to drive from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles over five times, as noted by NHDSC.

From gas stations to traditional dining establishments, there are numerous outlets to grab these popular summer treats.

At 7-Eleven, app users can snag two Roller Grill items, which include Big Bite hot dogs, for $3.50. The Big Bite hot dog, a quarter-pound all-beef option, can be enhanced with various sauces and toppings at 7-Eleven’s Big Bite Bar.

For Rewards members, Speedway and Stripes, both owned by 7-Eleven, are offering similar promotions.

Circle K customers can enjoy Roller Grilled Hot Dogs priced at just $1 when ordered through the store’s app.

In New England, Cumberland Farms is enticing customers with two hot dogs for $3 available until July 20th.

Love’s is also getting in on the action, offering free hot dogs for app users.

Sheetz, in collaboration with Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, is running a deal where fuel purchases allow customers to claim two free hot dogs through the app.

Additionally, Sheetz is partnering with Nathan’s and Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skeens for the launch of the “Big Greasy” hot dog. This item features oversized Nathan’s Famous Stadium-style hot dogs served in soft buns.

Crystal Rewards members can receive a free Classic Pup, Corn Pup, or Chili Cheese Pup with any qualifying $5 purchase on National Hot Dog Day.

The seasonal hot dog stand, Dogs Out, is quickly becoming a fixture along the Jersey Shore, and its co-owners are on a mission to “make hot dogs cool again,” as reported by Fox & Friends. Dog Haus, a gourmet hot dog and burger chain based in California, is offering its registered benefits members a buy-one-get-one-free deal on House Dogs, along with a free House Dog on National Hot Dog Day.

Philly Pretzel Factory encourages customers to buy a $1 pretzel dog, and app users can claim a free one.

At Portillo’s, known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, members can snag a hot dog for just $1.

Shake Shack features a Classic Hot Dog paired with Classic Fries or Classic Lemonade for $8 through its app using the promo code SUMMERDOG.

Sonic is launching its “Dog Days of Summer” promotion, offering app-exclusive hot dog and corn dog deals that will vary by date and location.

Wiener Schnitzel, specializing in hot dogs, is promoting four chili dogs for only $4.
