Spencer Pratt’s Security Team Revealed for Mayoral Campaign
Spencer Pratt has disclosed the impressive team of operatives he’s enlisted for protection during his campaign for mayor of Los Angeles.
The independent candidate shared a photo on social media featuring him alongside four notably muscular individuals. This image was intended to reassure supporters that he is in safe hands as the campaign intensifies.
Pratt expressed his aim for all residents of Los Angeles to experience the same sense of safety he feels when he’s around his security team.
While there’s no specific threat against him, the Los Angeles mayoral race has become increasingly competitive recently, with Pratt gaining traction in the polls.
Among the agents featured in the materials Pratt has shared are individuals named “Darko,” “Jim,” and “Nick.” He mentioned in a reply to a concerned fan that he feels entirely secure, stating, “I literally have the best operators on the planet watching me while I’m campaigning.”
His stated goal? To ensure all Angelenos feel as secure as he does with his security team, saying, “No one should have to worry about walking the streets of LA, day or night.”
The Protectors, a private security firm, specializes in offering advanced protection for those in high-risk situations, and their website showcases numerous images of their well-trained personnel.
Details regarding when Pratt hired this security team or the total number of agents brought on board remain unclear. Attempts to reach Pratt’s campaign and security team for comments have been made by various outlets.
Jim, one of the guards, brings 27 years of experience from the Los Angeles Police Department along with 12 years of service in the Marine Corps, including a deployment to Iraq.
Darko has served as a police officer for 13 years and has been part of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Department’s Patrol Unit and the Gang Elite Division.
He described himself as being “very comfortable handling any dynamic situation.”
Nick boasts 17 years in SWAT and has accumulated over 10,000 hours of training, which includes responding to hostage situations.
As election season heats up, Pratt has secured the second position in the Los Angeles mayoral race, facing off against incumbent Karen Bass ahead of the primary on June 2, 2026. Although polling shows Pratt with an 11% approval rating—lower than Bass—40% of voters remain undecided, which leaves the door open for a potential runoff in November, especially given his strong debate performances.
