Sports Illustrated model Kristen Ruel Gaffney appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Prime Time” on Friday and said she no longer felt safe in California and was leaving for Nashville, Tennessee. Then he spoke.
Gaffney told host Jesse Watters it wasn’t safe to go to places in her community and advocated for leadership changes, including at the state level with Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) did.
“You know, coming to California, it’s the city of dreams, the state of dreams, right?” she said. “You think I can do anything here, but I’m not safe anymore. I don’t feel safe going to the grocery store. I don’t go anywhere, especially in a big city, unless I’m with my husband, and my kids… Of course, I won’t be able to take him into the city.”
“There is movement,” Gaffney continued. “I think you’ve heard that this red wave is coming out of California, but as a red state might say, why don’t you bring your opinion to the table? That’s certainly not the case. I think there needs to be a big change. It’s like football, let’s compare everything to football. If this guy fumbles a lot, we have Newsom with over 20 years of experience in our state. He continues to fumble, and it’s time to cut him and bring in someone new to lead us to the W.
