Sports radio legend Chris “Mad Dog” Russo doesn’t typically discuss politics on air, but during a podcast appearance he voiced his opinions about former President Donald Trump.
Russo is “Sports Illustrated Media Podcast” During a conversation with Jimmy Traina, the show’s host was asked about talking about sports in an election year.
During his questioning, Traina called Trump a “beast,” to which Russo responded by slamming the Republican presidential nominee, primarily over his treatment of current President Joe Biden.

“What is he doing?” Russo said of Trump. Terrible announcement“Biden announced he was going to withdraw. And then kill him? Say what you want about him… [Biden] He’s dedicated his life to serving the United States since 1972, and he’s also had the tragedy of losing his wife and child in a car accident… Whether you like his policies or not, I think his heart is generally in the right place. I think he’s a compassionate person.”
Russo continued to speak out about Trump’s actions even after Biden dropped out of the presidential race.

“fact [Trump] “You can’t just let him quietly walk away from the scene and call it a day,” Russo explained. “Even Biden said, ‘I’ll call him,’ when Trump got shot, and called him by his first name.”
“Even Biden has to distance himself from the fray sometimes. That really bothers me. Don, can we just give him a little leeway for 24 hours, six months before the election? And don’t attack him… That really bothers me.”

Shortly after Biden announced he was dropping out of the presidential race on July 21, Trump spoke with Fox News Digital’s Brooke Singman and called Biden “the worst president in the history of our country.”
“He’s unfit to be president,” Trump continued, “so I ask the question: Who’s going to run this country for the next five months?”
Speaking at a recent press conference at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump said Biden had a “right” to run for reelection but that Democrats had “taken that away.”
“As you know, I’m no fan of his and his debates were tough, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to write him off,” Trump said.

Trump also said Biden’s successor, Vice President Kamala Harris, was “the least respected, least respected, worst vice president in the history of our country.”
