Playoffs Spotlight Real Stars
The postseason is when true talent shines, there’s really no contest. Performing well during the regular season is one thing, but stepping up when it matters most? That’s a different ball game.
This past weekend featured an exciting back-and-forth battle in the Western Conference Finals, showcasing the Oklahoma City Thunder against the San Antonio Spurs. Several star players put on memorable performances that will likely be talked about for years.
I’m not just referring to well-known players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama. No, I’m talking about a couple of Spurs fans who decided to turn heads in their low-cut tops while cheerleading for their team.
They made their debut during Game 3, right behind the Spurs’ bench as cameras focused on head coach Mitch Johnson. Instant internet fame followed, and it didn’t take long for online detectives to uncover their identities.
These two influencers are known on social media as blue beari and julie swan, and they returned for Game 4 dressed in bold, revealing outfits, positioned just right for camera attention once again.
Much like a famous duo from the past, they pulled off back-to-back games effortlessly—a feat not easily achieved, yet they seemed to have fun with it.
Game 5 is set for Tuesday night in Oklahoma City, but it appears they won’t be traveling for it. However, they are expected back for Game 6 on Thursday in San Antonio.
Blue announced on Twitter, “Yes, I’ll be in Game 6 #gospursgo #spurs #spursnation,” so fans can look forward to seeing them again.
A fan they met over the weekend even asked how people would recognize them and if they might give autographs. Blue’s spontaneous response was, “Oh, you would give autographs!” It was a playful moment that added to their growing fame.
A lot can happen in Game 6 when the series returns to the Spurs’ home court. Will these two continue to capture fans’ attention with their performances? And how will they respond to Charles Barkley’s playful jabs about their revealing outfits? I guess we’ll see.
