St. John’s law student under fire for calling Cardinal Dolan a ‘bootlicking disgrace

However, Holden fired the letter Monday to Law School Dean Jelani Jefferson Exum, claiming Barani's “fitness to the legal profession.”

Balani tore Holden, a conservative Queen Democrat, with X as a “scum bag” and a “two-bit sanctuary sleeping bag” and a “@Nyccountiler's legacy” on @Nyccountiler's “@Nyccountiler”.

Barani also called councillor Vicki Palladino (R-Keynes) “Scum of the Pond,” “The Pond Lover,” “The Pond Hack,” and “The Ill Trump Boot Ricker,” and seven other past and present councillors, “Crank” and “Grifter.”

“His actions contradict the values ​​of St. John's Jesuits, but also raise questions about his fitness for the legal profession, requiring your immediate review and disciplinary action,” Holden told Dean.

Balani's X account was closed days after Holden officially filed a complaint.

Councillors also wrote a similar letter to the New York Yankees Human Resources Department on Monday. There, Balani worked as a part-time special event staff and demanded that he be disciplined for potential violations of the MLB staff's conduct policy.

Barani declined to comment, and St. John's and the Yankees did not reply to messages.
