A stabbing victim in Seattle fought back and overpowered his attacker over the weekend until police arrived and arrested the suspect.

On Saturday around 6:30 p.m., Seattle Police received a report of a stabbing in the Hillman City neighborhood on South Juneau Street near Martin Luther King Jr. KCPQ TV reported.
Arriving officers found a 27-year-old man with a stab wound to the jaw, the department said, adding that paramedics treated him and transported him to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police told KCPQ that the victim noticed a 39-year-old man in the middle of the road, and when the victim got out of his car to check on the suspect, an argument ensued.
Police added that the victim suffered a stab wound to the jaw before subduing the suspect.
First responders also treated the suspect before he was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of assault, KCPQ reported.
