Stefon Diggs' Chef Says Patriots Player Hit and Choked Her Over Pay Argument

Details Emerge in Alleged Assault Case Involving Stefon Diggs

New information has surfaced regarding the alleged assault involving New England Patriots player Stefon Diggs, as the victim shares details about her claims.

The accusations against Diggs were reported on Tuesday, highlighting that a woman has accused him of physical assault. According to sources, this woman is identified as Diggs’ former personal chef. She alleges that the incident took place in her bedroom amid a dispute over unpaid wages.

This reported assault reportedly occurred at Diggs’ residence on December 2nd, although the woman didn’t file a police report until December 16th.

In her statement to the police, she indicated that Diggs had entered her bedroom and confronted her about text messages in which she demanded payment for her services.

As the argument escalated, she claims it became violent. At one point, Diggs allegedly slapped her and then put her in a headlock, leading her to fear loss of consciousness. She reported that he prevented her from leaving and “tried to strangle her with his elbow.”

Before she lost consciousness, she says he pushed her onto the bed, uttering something like, “I thought so.”

While she reported minor bruises to the police, she did not take photos of her injuries or seek medical attention, stating she was too frightened to call for help.

The confrontation reportedly stemmed from a disagreement about payment for services rendered, with Diggs asserting he didn’t need her services for a week in November. However, she claims she had not requested any time off and was only informed of the payment discrepancy when she received her November paycheck.

After the alleged attack, she quit her job and notified Diggs she would send someone to collect her belongings. He instructed her to discuss her departure with his assistant, which she did. She mentioned that the assistant offered to compensate her for the missed week but only if she agreed to a non-disclosure agreement, a proposal she declined.

Attempts by the police to reach Diggs were unsuccessful until charges were officially filed. The former employee has reportedly provided all relevant texts and evidence to law enforcement.

Diggs’ attorney, David Meyer, has denied the allegations, asserting that the purported attack “did not occur.” He emphasized that the timing and motivations behind the accusations seem to stem from the unresolved financial dispute between the two parties. “Stephon looks forward to proving his innocence in court,” Meyer added.
