US Olympic basketball star and NBA player Stephen Curry said he hopes Vice President Kamala Harris wins the 2024 presidential election.
Curry’s comments came at a press conference ahead of the Paris Olympic basketball tournament, when he was asked about his longtime ties to Vice President Harris, who was born in Oakland, the same region where Curry’s Golden State Warriors are based.

“Kamala Harris is a great candidate and I support her.”
In Paris, Curry said Harris would bring “energy” to the 2024 election.
“Vice President Harris is ready to throw herself into the campaign and I expect her to win the election, which is a big thing to say,” Curry said in an ESPN video. Corey Harvey“She represents the Bay Area. She’s a big supporter of ours, so we want to give that energy back to her.”

The vice president recently visited the basketball team in Las Vegas ahead of an overseas tour.

Curry and Kerr recently released statements expressing their sadness over the assassination attempt on former President Trump.
“We’re lucky that Trump wasn’t attacked, but it’s extremely demoralizing in every sense of the word,” Carr said.
“It’s obviously a very sad time across the board,” Curry said. “With all the discussion about the election and the political situation in our country, and with this situation happening, [evokes] There are a lot of emotions swirling around about things that we as a nation need to get right.”
Despite the fact that the shooter reportedly obtained the gun from his father, both Curry and Carr advocated for stricter gun control measures.
