Steph Curry has tense moment with French media at Olympics

Footage of Stephen Curry having a tense moment with a French cameraman was released on Sunday, shortly after he was involved in a violent confrontation with French police in a separate video shared by his wife Ayesha over the weekend.

Clip by @Vendett_Dailly A video that recently went viral online showed the US team basketball hero leaving the venue’s Avenue La with his loved ones, appearing to protest that the camera was too close.

“Watch out!” Curry, 36, yelled. “Get that out of my mom’s face!”

A person who appeared to be a U.S. team official also yelled, “Make a hole!” so Curry and the others could walk.

The new video was released on the heels of another clip that showed Ayesha, Curry’s mother, Sonia, and Draymond Green, who plays with Curry on the Warriors, being prevented from getting into a car after the U.S. team’s gold medal game on Saturday.

In the video Posted to YouTube by The Hollywood Fix“They won’t let the driver come over here and they won’t let us go back over there,” Sonia told officers. Aisha was holding the couple’s young son, Kaius, while a child believed to be the Curries’ 6-year-old son, Cannon, stood nearby.

“The president is [Emmanuel Macron]”He’s on his way so no one should cross the road now until he has passed.”

Ayesha, who also has a daughter with Curry, was seen wiping away tears as the scene unfolded.

Green also accused police of hitting the baby during the encounter, saying: “Even after you hit the baby over the head, you can’t do anything to get him out of here?”

It is unclear when the attack occurred or which officers have been charged.

Curry’s family and Green, 34, were on hand to watch the U.S. national team’s 98-87 victory over France at the Bercy Arena on Saturday, where they won the gold medal.

The 10-time All-Star paved the way for the United States to win its fifth consecutive gold medal, especially with four stunning 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to hold off coach Victor Wembanyama’s team.

Curry’s most notable shot came in the fourth, a step-back three-pointer from behind the defense over Wembanyama and another French defender that became one of the most iconic photos in basketball history.

The win gave Curry an eye-catching 60 points in his final two games for the U.S. national team and saw the two-time MVP add an Olympic gold medal to his Hall of Fame roster.

The Warriors superstar didn’t shy away from getting in on the trolling himself, either.

Immediately after the win, Curry wore a “Nuit Nuit” sweatshirt, which means “Night Night” in French.
