Deputy White House Chief of Staff’s Response to Violence
In Washington, Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller announced on Monday that the Trump administration is developing a strategy aimed at confronting left-wing groups that allegedly promote violence, particularly following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Miller, who is a husband and father of three, expressed his feelings during an appearance on “Charlie Kirk Show,” hosted by Vice President J.D. Vance. He described the murder as evoking both “incredible sadness” and “incredible rage.”
Miller revealed that the administration’s efforts will focus on redirecting their anger towards dismantling networks that, in his view, instigate such violence. He stated, “We intend to guide all the rage we have against the organized campaign that led to this assassination.” He characterized these groups as perpetrators of terror.
“These groups engage in organized doxing campaigns, riots, and other forms of street violence. They dehumanize individuals and run slander campaigns, often inciting actual violence,” Miller elaborated.
He pledged, “With God as my witness, we will utilize all available resources from the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice to identify, disrupt, dismantle, and eliminate these networks. Our goal is to make America safe for all Americans.”
Prior to their discussion, Vance remarked, “Yeah, Stephen Miller and I are going to pursue constitutionally protected speech.” He clarified, “No, I’m focused on NGOs. The networks that promote and engage in violence—it’s simply unacceptable. In our system, violence cannot be tolerated.”
