Sting, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers Set for Los Angeles Wildfire FireAid Benefit Concert

NEW YORK (AP) — Sting, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are among the performers scheduled to take the stage at FireAid, a benefit concert for Los Angeles-area wildfire relief. I'm inside.

Announced last week, FireAid was originally scheduled to be held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The event will be held on January 30th at two venues: Intuit Dome and the adjacent Kia Forum.

It will be broadcast live and streamed on Apple Music, Apple TV, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube. It will also be shown in select AMC theaters in the United States.

According to a press release, donations to FireAid “will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term efforts to prevent future fires…with advice from the Annenberg Foundation…at Intuit Dome and Kia.” All proceeds from the FireAid Benefit Concert will be donated” forum directly to the event’s designated beneficiaries. ”

The event is hosted by the Sherry, Irving and Azoff families in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents.

Since the wildfires began, celebrities and entertainment organizations have pledged millions of dollars to help displaced and homeless people, including Beyoncé's charitable foundation, BeyGOOD. It also includes a $2.5 million donation to the newly launched Los Angeles Fire Relief Fund.

Last week, the Recording Academy and MusiCares kicked off Los Angeles fire relief efforts with a $1 million donation. Thanks to additional donations, they have already distributed $2 million in emergency relief.

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will still be held on Sunday, February 2nd at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, but the Recording Academy will support relief efforts following the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area. Refocused on purpose.
