Stock prices move significantly after hours
Let’s take a look at some of the companies that are making headlines for their after-hours trading.
- Intuit — Shares fell about 1% after the financial software company posted revenue of $3.39 billion in the second quarter. The results were in line with expectations of analysts surveyed by LSEG. Adjusted earnings beat Wall Street expectations at $2.63 per share, compared to analysts’ expectations of $2.30 per share.
- Live Nation Entertainment — Shares rose about 1% in after-hours trading. Live Nation reported revenue of $5.84 billion, beating analysts’ expectations of $4.79 billion, according to LSEG. The company’s fourth-quarter operating profit was also slightly below consensus.
- Booking Holdings — The online travel company fell more than 4% even though it reported fourth-quarter profit and revenue growth, despite a 9% increase in room reservations. Booking Holdings also announced that it will begin paying a quarterly cash dividend of $8.75 per share.

Stock futures little changed
Stock futures were little changed Thursday after the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average both hit record highs following Nvidia’s explosive earnings announcement.
Futures, which track the Dow Jones Industrial Average, fell 9 points, or 0.02%. S&P 500 futures fell 0.03% and Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.09%.
