Stock futures rise on Sunday evening after losing week on Wall Street: Live updates – CNBC

Stock market futures rose high on Sunday evening as Wall Street appeared to bounce off the slide late last week.

The future for Dow Jones Industrial Average Added 125 points, or 0.3%. S&P 500 Futures Added 0.3% or more Nasdaq 100 futures An increase of 0.4%.

The move closes the week in red, following the fall of stock markets on Thursday and Friday. Dow It fell 2.51%, the worst performance each week since October. S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite I slid 1.66% and 2.51% respectively for a week.

The upcoming weeks include important readings on corporate revenue and the economy. Revenue reports from Home Depot and Lowe on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively give investors a better sense of how US consumers are carrying. Nvidia's revenue report on Wednesday evening could have further impact. Chipmakers associated with artificial intelligence remain one of the largest stocks by market capitalization.

This will be Nvidia's first revenue report since the advent of the Deepseek major language model from China, which raised questions about the sustainability of AI trade.

“It's definitely one of the top things the market sees [this] week. “We are pleased to announce that we are a global market analyst at Etoro,” said Lale Akoner, global market analyst at Etoro.

Friday then offers a January read of the Personal Consumption Expense Index, the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation measure.

Last week's stock slides came amid new concerns about US economic growth, but all market indexes are within 4% of their record highs.
