Last night, ABC hosted the first-ever and highly anticipated debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
According to Stu Bruguiere“There's a lot of room to criticize anyone.”
It's certainly not what we wanted, but[Kamala] “We cleared those hurdles,” Stu says.
“I don't think she's a good candidate, but I think she could persuade the people she wanted to persuade,” he acknowledged.
Unfortunately, “it wasn't Donald Trump's best night. I don't think he accomplished everything he wanted to accomplish, but it was a tough night. He was really up against three candidates,” Stu said, noting that while “Bash and Tapper were both fair” during the Trump-Biden debate, the moderators at last night's debate were clearly Team Kamala.
Stuart points out that David Muir and Lindsay Davis were “clearly biased” by “not even allowing him to respond to the accusations”.
Harris' performance, combined with the moderator's apparent bias, likely reduced the number of people who “definitely supported Kamala.” [increasing].”
Despite the controversy, Stu still believes Trump is likely to remain “popular” because he “makes good arguments overall.”
“If he runs a disciplined campaign, he can win,” he says.
