An undocumented immigrant, released during the Biden administration, faces multiple charges of assault and battery after allegedly molesting a classmate at a high school in Virginia, according to parents and school officials.
Stephanie Lundquist Arora, a mother of three students in Fairfax County Schools, expressed her concerns to Fox News, stating, “I think this entire disturbing situation stems from a policy that prioritizes protecting illegal immigrants over the safety of children, even in our public schools.”
Lundquist-Arora appeared on “Fox & Friends Weekend” to discuss the case of 18-year-old Israel Flores Ortiz, who stands accused of inappropriately touching several female classmates in the hallways of Fairfax High School.
The student was arrested and now faces nine charges of assault and battery after reportedly touching a female student as she moved through the hallways. This information was shared with parents in a letter from Fairfax High School officials.
Lundquist-Arora mentioned that the school took about two weeks to inform parents of the incident, suggesting that this delay was only due to parental pressure.
Fox News attempted to reach out to Fairfax High School and the school district for comments but did not receive any immediate responses.
In a statement provided to local media, FCPS said: “Due to federal and state privacy laws, Fairfax County Public Schools cannot comment on specifics, but we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. We thoroughly investigate any reports of incidents or concerns for safety at school.”
