Success of Trump’s address makes Democrats’ desperate damage control all the more humiliating

Michigan Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin delivery Her party's rebuttal to President Donald Trump's Congress speech. Unfortunately for Democrats, Trump's optimistic and inspiring speech staves Slotkin's damage control.

For Slotkin's trust, she pulled out all the stops. She worked on the economy, recent Doge cuts, tariffs and foreign policy. Still, her message was hidden by Trump's speech, and she received an overwhelmingly positive reception.

Democrats were attacked and protested in their speech on Tuesday night, even in apolitical and heartwarming moments.

The majority of Americans approved Trump's speech, according to CBS research audiences. And almost 70% of Americans say they feel hopeful to see their speech, and over half say they are proud.

Meanwhile, some legacy media have fully covered Slotkin's addresses, including Politico Playbooks and Punchbowl's morning newsletter. This is further evidence that Trump's speech is another bright spot for Republicans and Maga supporters across the country, and Democrats felt it.

Democrats were attacked and protested in their speeches Tuesday night, even in apolitical and heartwarming moments.

“They refused to applause for the families of Jocelyn Nungarray, Laken Riley, Corey Comperatore, or capture the terrorist mastermind behind Abbey Gate.”

In an emotional exchange, Trump created DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old Cancer boy who is an honorary member of the Secret Service, and realized Daniel's lifelong dream of working in law enforcement. But in a true left-wing style, Democrats like MSNBC's host Nicole Wallace politicized the moment by raising January 6th.

“I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he doesn't have to defend the U.S. Capitol against supporters of Donald Trump,” Wallace said.

Democrats have also refused to celebrate Americans whose lives have been lost in the past four years.

“Democrats couldn't even hold back the incredible Americans that President Trump recognized,” Mike Johnson Speaker (R-La. I said. “They either refused applause for the families of Jocelyn Nungarray, Laken Riley and Corey Comperatore or took the capture of the terrorist mastermind behind Abby Gate, a sad state of Congressional Democrats today.”
