Sudiksha Konanki search: Dominican Republic guest claims resort gave no info about beach

A traveler at a resort in the Dominican Republic on the same day that University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Conanki disappeared, claimed that there was “no communication” from the hotel regarding beach safety, and “is left at his own discretion.”

According to the nation's national police, La Policia Nacional, Darani Sweeney continues searching for the 20-year-old, who has been missing, as the search continues for the 20-year-old, who has been missing, continues. On Monday, ABC News reported that Conanki may have died, citing law enforcement sources.

“I remember the waves were much bigger than normal. Me and my friends were on the beach. I remember saying that I wasn't going to go to the ocean because I know I could swim. “I know a few friends who went in, but they weren't in for a while, and they weren't in the ocean as many as we normally see.”

“There was no communication from the resort at all, because it was safe and secure on our beaches. It was like it was left at your own discretion,” she added. “One night, it was like a security guard who was groping people coming in from the beach, and that was the only night I saw it, and we went to the beach almost every day to take photos.”

The video shot by Sweeney showed a red flag posted on the beach, warning swimmers in rough conditions underwater.

Sweeney also said he believes the resort has been suffering from multiple issues during his recent stay, and that he may have encouraged others, such as Conanki, to spend more time than usual, including a long-term blackout.

“I know people trapped from the room. For hours, days, customer service couldn't help or play cards to work in their room, so people were sleeping in other people's rooms. They were sleeping on the beach.
