The co-hosts seemed to agree that the moment might play into Trump’s campaign narrative, linking Harris to potential missteps from that interview. Democrat strategist James Kerrville remarked that Harris’s challenges could be tied back to her response on “The View,” emphasizing a need for change in the country.
At the outset of the discussion, Behar jokingly placed some blame for Harris’s difficulties on Hostin, highlighting the lighthearted nature of their banter.
