Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks sent another playful message to Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald Trump, after visiting the team’s facility. On his social media, he expressed regret for missing her and mentioned having borrowed a bottle of wine.
In his Instagram story, Ricks cheekily wrote, “My apology, I’m borrowing you a bottle of wine now,” including a wink emoji.
Ricks previously met Ivanka during a celebration after his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, won the Super Bowl last month. He complimented her by calling her “beautiful.”
On Friday, Trump visited the Eagles practice field with her children, leaving a note for Ricks. It read, “I stopped by to say hello! I miss you!” along with a cheer for the Eagles.
Ricks joined the Eagles in 2023 as an undrafted free agent after playing for LSU and Alabama. In the 2023 season, he participated in 16 games, and in 2024, he played in seven, recording 21 tackles and three pass breakups, mainly contributing to special teams.
Ivanka is married to Jared Kushner, and they have three kids: Theo, Arabella, and Joseph.
