We look forward to the Super Bowl LX as Super Bowl Lix is behind us.
Yes, the participants in that game may be decided in advance (if you believe in the plot of the Super Bowl logo, James Datar covers it here), but the halftime show What do you think?
Who will follow Kendrick Lamar's footsteps next year?
There are a few ideas.
Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny is the world's most popular artist and won a banger at the 12-minute halftime show. Considering that all his songs are Spanish, I know there's a bit of ambiguity in bad bunnies, but I've seen Latin artists do great halftime shows.
future
Listening to “March Madness” at a stadium live is soothing. In a live stadium environment, “drink and dance” brings numbers to my brain.
Blink 182
Blink-182 is almost more popular than I was in seventh grade 25 years ago. Since their reunion, Mark, Tom and Travis have sold out stadiums around the world, with the combination of mass appeal and smash hits needed for Super Bowl headlines. I heard that “feeling this,” a single leading character from Masterwork's self-titled album in 2003, was when I debuted on the Madden 2004 soundtrack (known at the time as “action”). The San Diego boys' hometown no longer have an NFL team, but it counts as the California band in the Super Bowl. I think this will work. Please open the turnstyle again.
Morgan Warren featuring special guest Kidlock and jelly rolls
Acknowledge that.
If you take a walk through a certain corner of the internet after Kendrick's halftime show, you know where things are probably heading.
This doesn't mean that Warren doesn't have catchy songs, like he does. Just like the jelly rolls. We are currently booking Kid Rock catalog judgment…
The only problem is if Payton Manning replicates this as part of Warren's strike.
A homage to the San Francisco music scene
When the NFL held the Super Bowl in Los Angeles a few seasons ago, the halftime show was a hip-hop and rap celebration. The Los Angeles scene was featured prominently on the show. This became the Super Bowl halftime show.
The Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi's stadium outside San Francisco, giving us a tribute to San Francisco's music history. This featured groups such as Jefferson Airplane, Journey, Steve Miller Band, and Grateful Dead, and many others who have been making shows over the years with bands such as Metallica, Third Eyeblind, Count Crow and more recently artists like E-40. It brought it.
Chris Stapleton
There is an existing relationship between the NFL and Chris Stapleton. The Bluegrass-turned country star collaborated with Snoop Dogg on New Monday Night Soccer A few seasons ago, they sang the national anthem before Super Bowl LVII. You can see it here.
Look at Coach Sirianni, I'll get it…
The halftime show seems like a logical next step.
Luke Bryan
Brian is one of the most successful country singers of all time, but that's not why he's on the list. Brian's profile has risen considerably as a judge over the past six years. American Idol. He has a prolific catalogue of Stadium Jams and will appeal to a group of fans that are different from the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Since 2003, there has been no country music headliner (Shania Twain).
Dua Lipa
Only one of the last four Super Bowl halftime shows is Kendrick Lamar (RAP), Ausher (R&B), and Dr. We featured pop music in Dre's RAP collaboration. It's time to go back to bright pop jams. And Dua Lipa has the body of work and vision to get the job done. She has a huge collection of fun dance bangers and will bring several special guests to her halftime party.
Miley Cyrus
Cyrus has a huge catalog of pop hits to choose from, with all her collaborators and can bring together one Heckuva Star-Studdded Halftime show over the years. She performed at the tailgate party before Tampa's 2021 Super Bowl. Cyrus is one of Odds On's favorites.
Foo Fighters
It's actually ridiculous that I've never seen Foo Fighters do a Super Bowl halftime show. As the NFL checks out all the boxes they're looking for in their bands, it's guaranteed to be broadly appealing, plenty of bangers, and not offensive. Combine this with the fact that they still sell out stadiums around the world. This is a great ode for Taylor Hawkins, and everything makes sense here.
I haven't played True Rock Band Play The Halftime Show since 2010 (yes, 2010) when Who played. We are late. Dave Grohl and Co. makes a lot of sense.
oasis
For the time being, Liam and Noel Gallagher have decided they like money more than punch each other, marking their Oasis reunion tour in 2025. This will probably be the only time in history that the NFL can book this as a halftime show.
It has also become a part of the UK and the NFL expansion. It makes sense.
Drake
Maybe give him a chance to respond?
After we just saw, he might want to lie down low for a year or ten years.
After Malone
The biggest trick the NFL has ever pulled is to ensure that certain consumers are what they want. Sometimes they care about things and people. Sometimes they are capitalist beacons. Sometimes they just have fun. Who else does it sound like?
That's right, Post Malone can do a little bit of it all and do genre bends that fit almost every ear (they can't reach except for the angry uncle). It also opens the door to guest appearances. This is a lazy ridden Kendrick Lamar. Post Malone's music is generally excellent, generally fun, and he is generally well known between his music and commercial gusts. He is basically a human-shaped Super Bowl.
