‘Super pod’ of more than 1,500 dolphins off California coast: drone video

More than 1,500 dolphins are photographed, jumped off the coast of California and sliding, and a rare scene on Friday morning across the base line and increasing many miles.

Along with the Monterey Bay whale watches, Captain Evan Brosky discovered a huge gathering of Risso dolphins in Carmel Bay and said he was “blown away.”

“It was surprising,” said Brozky. “We went out to the sea every day, but all of us were taking pictures.”

A small team, including Brozky and Marine Biologist Colin Tarti, was looking for a gray whale with a 20 -foot inflatable boat when dolphins began to jump out of the bay.

According to Talty, some dolphins are swimming in front of the boat and are known as a bow horse riding using waves.

“They broke through anywhere, hit spy hopping, tailed, and came to the boat,” she said.

Talty has been added as follows:

Alaska's white head eagle discovered that he was rescued by the police who could not fly and could not fly: “I'm ready to fly the hut.”

According to Tarti, such a large -scale adult and boy dolphin groups are likely to be the result of several pods together when swimming in the south.

According to the National Ocean Air Bureau, Risso's dolphins can reach 13 feet for up to 1,100 pounds for £ 1,100.

Monterley coastline is a particularly ideal place to find them because they prefer very deep water. Talty said that the underwater submarine gorge in the area can swim far closer to the coast than other areas in California.

It was not the first time Brodsky and Talty had seen such a large dolphin group, but they said that such a scene was rare.
