Super Tuesday Sees Growing Calls for Nikki Haley to Drop Out of Race

As former President Donald Trump appears to be racking up victories, calls are growing for Nikki Haley to withdraw from the presidential primary race.

Fifteen states voted in their primaries on Tuesday: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia. As of 9:30 p.m. ET, Trump had won Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Maine.

Haley has so far won one Republican primary in the swamps of Washington, D.C., and as Trump looks set to continue his winning streak, calls for Haley to withdraw from the race are growing.

“@NikkiHaley needs to withdraw from the race,” said Ben and Candy Carson’s Twitter account. “Our nation faces existential threats from within and outside the country that, if left unchecked, will forever change the course of our nation’s future.”

“We have real problems to solve for our children and grandchildren. America needs a strong leader to return to the world stage. America needs @realDonaldTrump !” they added.

“I met with the 45th and 47th presidents of the United States at Mar-a-Lago,” said former Congressman Lee Zeldin. “It’s time for Nikki Haley to end her campaign, for the Republican Party to unite, and to save our great country in November!”

Charlie Kirk quoted Laura Ingraham as saying that Haley “represented the Bush wing of the party more than anyone else.”

“I don’t think there’s that much of an audience at this point. There’s some, but not enough…This is a populist party, and now it’s Trump’s party,” she said, adding that others have expressed their opinions. While saying this, he said the following:

It’s still unclear what Hailey plans to do tonight, but there are rumors that she has no plans to speak.
