Recent surveys have shown that support for Hamas in Gaza is waning, while the popularity of Iran-backed militants in the West Bank is soaring.
“They see Hamas as resilient. They see Hamas as strong,” Saied said.
“They see them as representing someone who will not sacrifice Palestinian rights and give in to Israel.”
