Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – A 20-year-old university student was last captured on surveillance footage with a friend during a spring break trip at a resort in the Dominican Republic.
Suddiksha Conanki, a junior primed student at the University of Pittsburgh, was last seen on surveillance cameras at the Ryu Repubblica hotel in Punta Cana at 4:15am on Thursday, Dominican National Police said in a statement.
Surveillance video obtained by Noticias Sin captured a group walking towards the beach at a five-star resort.
The footage is the last time authorities tracked down Conanki before Virginia residents disappeared.

Conanki's loss of sparked widespread speculation about the events that led to it, prompting investigations in both the Dominican Republic and the United States.

According to Dominican National Police, Conanki was last seen on March 6th at 4:15am walking on the beach outside the Ryu Republic Resort.

The footage filmed Conanki with two men and three women. The 20-year-old was seen clinging to a blonde man authorities identified as “a male friend.”
Authorities said a male friend who was with Conanki at the time of his loss of failure was under investigation.

It is unclear who the “young man” is, but police say he is in the waters of the same beach, and they are questioning him that they are trying to support the events of his version, according to a translation of the Spanish statement.

Authorities have not named the suspect in an ongoing investigation. On her release Tuesday, Dominican national police said they are “reviewing targeted individuals who were close to the victim at the time of her loss.”
“This includes employees at the hotel where Conanki and her companions were staying, and aims to gather information to support her movements, interactions and relevant details of her investigation,” they said.

When asked about Monday's report that Conanki may have owned, a spokesman for the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Digital Authority that he had never seen the evidence presented at this time.
The joint investigation into Conanki's Lost Disappear is being conducted by the FBI, the US Embassy of the Dominican Republic, the Dominican National Police and the Dominican Prosecutor's Office.
