Survey Reveals Obama’s, Sanders’, and Ben Carson’s Popularity Soars Among Politicians!

Obama, Sanders, Ben Carson among most liked politicians, surveys show

A recent YouGov study has revealed that former President Obama, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, rank among the most favored politicians.

In one YouGov survey, regarding Democratic individuals, 58% of respondents expressed feeling “very positive” or “somewhat positive” towards Obama. Meanwhile, 36% described themselves as “somewhat disadvantaged” or “very disadvantaged” in relation to the former president, resulting in a 22-point margin between those who held positive views of Obama and those who did not.

Half of the participants stated that Sanders appeared “very” or “somewhat” favorable, with 38% reporting feelings of being “somewhat disadvantaged” or “very disadvantaged” concerning the Vermont senator who aligns with the Democrats. This resulted in a 12-point difference regarding unfavorable perceptions of Sanders.

Both Obama and Sanders have publicly contested actions from the newly formed Trump administration in the early months. Recently, Sanders embarked on a “Fighting Olgarkie” tour alongside lawmakers such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to states like Idaho and Montana, engaging with two Republicans.

In another YouGov survey regarding Republican individuals, 35% of participants indicated they felt “very favorable” or “somewhat favorable” towards Carson. Additionally, 29% viewed him as “very disadvantaged” or “somewhat disadvantaged.” The gap between those who held unfavorable views of the former housing secretary was six points, marking the largest discrepancy among the Republicans polled.

Carson, who held the secretary position during President Trump’s first term, endorsed Trump’s latest presidential campaign in late 2023.

“Donald Trump champions our freedom of speech, our freedom of religion, and our right to bear arms,” Carson stated at that time. “Together, we can restore our nation, we can make America great again. And President Donald J. Trump is the one to do it.”

The YouGov poll concerning Democratic figures was conducted from March 19th to 22nd, involving 2,285 respondents with a positive or negative margin of 2.8 percentage points. The Republican-related YouGov survey occurred from March 21 to 24, featuring 2,260 respondents and a similar positive or negative margin of 2.8 percentage points.
