Survey Shows 2:1 Favor for Deporting All Economic Migrants

Recent polling indicates that support for deporting all illegal immigrants is significantly stronger than opposition to such measures.

The survey was carried out on October 14-15 with 1,004 registered voters, according to JL Partners.

James Johnson, founder of JL Partners, remarked that “opinion pieces from liberal writers, statements from Democratic leaders, and social media sentiments align closely with the average American viewpoint on immigration.” He also mentioned:

This survey clearly demonstrates that many Americans back President Trump’s stance on immigration and deportation. Most believe the administration’s policies are generally sound or even feel they haven’t gone far enough, rather than thinking they’ve overreached.

The poll revealed that 69% of those questioned support the deportation of all criminal immigrants, particularly in light of growing public criticism regarding police methods to enforce these actions.

Under President Biden and prior administrations, the federal approach to immigration has been seen as a way to decrease American household wages. While the resulting influx has fueled rising rents and property prices, it has also diminished the political clout of born-and-raised Americans in various elections, impacting job opportunities across many sectors for those native to the country.

Investor-backed advocacy groups appear to be trying to bypass the public’s reasonable concerns regarding the majority of immigrants. One tactic seems to involve stirring up street protests and unrest against lawful deportations, all while offering promises of legalizing more immigrants to benefit investors, employers, and businesses.

For instance, the pro-immigration organization America’s Voice admitted on October 29 that Donald Trump’s immigration policies tend to resonate more positively than the Democrats’ narratives.

Democrats are lagging in polls that measure which party is trusted more on immigration issues, particularly concerning border security. This situation highlights the need and potential for opponents of Trump’s policies to tackle this topic with a more balanced perspective that restores credibility, engages a broad audience, and offers an alternative narrative about the adverse impacts of Trump and ICE.

As per the investor-backed group, the solution involves making concessions regarding unregulated illegal immigration while simultaneously legalizing a much larger number of peaceful immigrants beyond the current annual cap of one million.

The group asserted, “Americans tend to prefer legalizing the status of undocumented immigrants over mass deportations, favoring a balanced approach that combines ‘order and humanity.’
