President Donald Trump shared that his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, has been diagnosed with early-stage cancer.

The announcement was made via a post on Truth Social, in which Trump commended Wiles for her leadership within the administration and her commitment to the American people. He reassured that her prognosis looks “excellent” and indicated that she will continue her work at the White House during her treatment.

“She will win this battle with grace,” Trump added.

“Susie Wiles, an incredibly impressive chief of staff and a remarkable individual, has, unfortunately, been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. She has chosen to confront this challenge head-on rather than delay,” Trump remarked in a statement.

“She is supported by a fantastic medical team, and her prognosis is promising! I’m thrilled she’ll be on-site at the White House while undergoing treatment!”

Trump further described Wiles as one of his “closest and most vital advisors,” expressing that he and First Lady Melania Trump would support her throughout her journey.

“Her resolve and dedication to continue her important work while dealing with treatment speaks volumes about her character,” Trump stated.

“I am eager to collaborate with Susie on the significant and wonderful initiatives that lie ahead for our nation!”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair also acknowledged Wiles’ unwavering commitment to Trump and the administration, especially during challenging times.

“Susie guided President Trump’s team through various adversities, including false accusations and attempts to undermine the administration. She will undoubtedly overcome this challenge with the same grace she’s shown before,” Blair mentioned.
