Officers plagued the man in connection with the murder of his brother, too Short, in a shootout at a city pot farm in Oakland, authorities announced Friday.
Police say Maige Jackson was arrested two weeks after Wayne Shaw, the 61-year-old brother of rap legend, was shot multiple times outside the California Marijuana Glow House.
Early investigations suggested that multiple robbers used stolen Honda Civics to break into the pot farm where the show was sleeping. I told Fox 2.
Shaw manages to escape from the building, but he is shot after a confrontation in the street. Used shell casings were scattered across the pavement, and officers discovered abandoned citizens (jammed with bullet holes) nearby.
Officers are “actively seeking additional suspects,” the Oakland Police Department said in a statement, and the District Attorney's Office is considering a lawsuit against Jackson.
Police have not made clear whether the show's growing family is illegal, but black market weed businesses are common in the Bay Area and are particularly vulnerable to armed robbers.
Too Short – The name of that name was Todd Shaw, who rose to stardom in the '80s as a pioneer in West Coast hip hop, affecting Snoop Dogg and outcasts.
His legend was the greatest of his childhood homeland in Auckland, naming the street after him, and declared it a “short day” on December 10th.
