A female student at Kennesaw State University (KSU) was fatally shot shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday, and the suspect has been taken into custody.
WSBTV report The university in Kennesaw, Georgia, issued a campus-wide alarm at 4:07 a.m., warning students, faculty and staff that there was an intruder on campus and that everyone needed to evacuate.of atlanta journal constitution Said The student was “shot near a residential area on south campus.”

At 4:43 p.m., the KSU Office of Emergency Management announced it was safe to travel on campus.
fox 9 I got it. The identity of the deceased female student has not been made public, nor has a possible motive behind the incident been revealed.
The shooting is being investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
