Suspect in Minnesota Assassination Writes Confession Letter
A suspect in the assassination of a Minnesota representative and her husband has reportedly written a letter to Governor Tim Walz about the murders he is accused of committing.
According to sources, Vance Boelter’s letter was specifically aimed at FBI Director Kash Patel, as reported recently.
The letter was allegedly found by law enforcement in a Buick Boelter purchased just hours after he shot Minnesota Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette, along with killing Senator Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark.
Boelter faces charges for these killings, and court documents indicate he confirmed his involvement in what he referred to as “two Minnesota shootings” in a handwritten note signed “Dr. Vance Luther Bolter.”
Reports describe the letter as “inconsistent, 1.5 pages long, confused, and difficult to read.” It claimed that Walz was instructed to eliminate U.S. Senate candidates, with Boelter asserting he was trained for this based on military principles.
A spokesperson for Hennepin County noted that Walz had previously appointed a suspect to the state’s Workforce Development Board back in 2019.
The statewide manhunt led to Boelter’s capture on Sunday in Green Isle, about 60 miles from where Hortman and her husband were fatally shot in their home.
Following the murders, Minnesota patrol units cautioned the public against attending local protests after finding flyers related to the events in the suspect’s vehicle.
Witnesses reported that Boelter dressed in a police officer’s attire during the incident. After the shooting, he allegedly sent a haunting text to his family, saying, “My father went to war last night.” In another message, he expressed regret over the situation, mentioning that “there are people who are armed and come to Trigger Happy’s house.”
