Arrest of Neo-Nazi Sextortion Member on Child Pornography Charges
On Monday, authorities arrested a member of the neo-Nazi sextortion group known as 764 on charges related to child pornography. Disturbing images of very young children, including some as young as two years old, were found on his computer, according to recently filed court documents.
A criminal complaint in federal court in Syracuse details that Aaron “Baggess” Corey, 23, from Albany, New York, had over 25 videos and images of child pornography downloaded from social media platforms on both his phone and computer.
Corey communicated online with other members of the 764 group using the username “Bagues.” It is alleged that he pressured women into putting bags over their heads, among other disturbing behaviors.
Authorities reported that Corey had possession of explicit photographs involving a two-year-old girl and a five- to six-year-old child engaged in sexual acts with an adult male.
During the investigation, federal agents also discovered a meme on Corey’s phone featuring a cartoon character with a T-shirt that proclaimed, “I Heart CP,” a reference to child pornography.
Moreover, Corey’s online activities showcased his concerning interests. For instance, he searched for “a nearby children’s park” and engaged with Quora topics such as, “Is it OK for a 13-year-old girl to date a 27-year-old man, even if he’s respectful?” and “Where can I meet girls ages 10 to 14?”
In conversations from October, he reportedly discussed his disturbing preferences with another individual, suggesting a dark mindset. During one chat, he commented about “corruptible” young teenagers and hinted at moving discussions to another app to discuss his interests more freely.
Corey’s arrest followed the initial execution of a search warrant connected to drug charges. However, during the search of his devices, authorities discovered the appalling images, prompting them to obtain an additional warrant specifically for a child pornography investigation.
“The 764 Network is a depraved criminal group that enjoys exploiting and abusing vulnerable children,” stated Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. He emphasized that the Justice Department, along with federal partners, would aggressively pursue prosecution in this ongoing case against such violent extremists.
This group has garnered attention in recent months for widespread misconduct across various platforms, including blackmailing teens on networks like Discord and Roblox, coercing them into posing nude, torturing pets, and engaging in other horrendous acts.
Federal authorities have labeled the 764 network as a “nihilistic violent extremist organization.”
As of now, Corey’s defense attorney has not provided any comments regarding the charges.
