A Mexico City man has been dubbed the “Mexican Jeffrey Dahmer” after police found evidence of him as a serial killer in his apartment.
Relatives of two alleged victims of Miguel Cortez told KTTV-TV Her sister and 17-year-old niece were said to have been the serial killer’s last victims.
Angela Calles of Santa Ana said Cortez raped and killed María Jose Castillo’s mother before attacking her on April 16. She said Ms. Calles returned from her sister’s errands to look for Ms. Cortez after the attack.

Cortez attempted to flee the scene, but neighbors were able to restrain him until police arrived.
